What is the difference between an Event and a List?
An Event is a dated plan that can include a time, time zone and general location. A List is an undated checklist. Both can contain editable sections and detailed items.
Events are for real events or trips: use an Event workspace for a trip, celebration, or multi-part plan with sections, comments, reference images, and guest access. It can appear in Calendar. Keep an ordinary class or appointment as a Calendar entry, and use a reusable List when no date is needed.
Nothing is saved, assigned or shared until you choose it.

One plan, clear choices
This distinction keeps Calendar useful and prevents every reusable checklist from becoming a scheduled commitment.
A dated workspace for a trip, celebration, or multi-part family plan. Add sections, comments, a reference image, and optional guest access. After saving, it can appear in Calendar for people with access.
A normal class or appointment stays an ordinary Calendar entry.
An undated checklist for packing, party preparation, moving or a care handoff. Save a useful structure as a template and launch a fresh copy later.
Photo to reviewed action
Create the structure yourself, describe the plan, or—when photo analysis is available—use a clear JPEG or PNG of a written list or invitation to create an editable Event or List draft.
Review the title, date, sections, items, audience, and responsibility before saving. The source photo is not saved as the plan; a persistent reference image is a separate choice.
Read common questionsDescribe the plan—or scan a clear written list when available—then review every suggested section, item, quantity and note before saving.
Keep the plan personal, share it with the whole family, or limit it to selected members of the current family.
Choose concrete food and supply items plus one Grocery destination. Broad headings such as “Meat” never become shopping items.
Claim a task without creating a Chore, or add it to Chores and My Day suggestions when you want it in your personal workflow.
Eligible whole-family Events and Lists can keep short comments inside the relevant group, beside the sections and items people are discussing.
Keep an eligible sanitized JPEG or PNG reference image with the Event or List. It is separate from a photo used to create an editable draft.

Connected, with confirmation
Food and supplies can be selected for one Grocery list. Tasks can stay in the plan, be claimed, or be added to Chores and My Day suggestions. Linked completion remains visible in the source plan.
LoopUsIn does not automatically split vague text, assign work, schedule checklist items, or send an entire Event through the ecosystem.

The dated Event appears in Calendar; its checklist items do not
Choose Just me, Whole family, or selected members of the current family. For an Event, a scoped guest link can invite someone outside the family group without giving them family membership or access to other household content.
Planned: Event split billing is not part of the current public release.

Eligible users can choose reviewed food or supply items and one permitted Grocery list. Section headings are not sent, and an existing active delivery is not duplicated.
An eligible person can claim a task or add it to Chores. Adding it to Chores also claims it and places it in My Day suggestions; it is not automatically scheduled for today.
The creator chooses Just me, Whole family, or selected members of the current family. Access still depends on the person's account and family permissions.
